A Vetiver Perfume 

I don’t know what even inspired me to create this one because I don’t even really like Vetiver as a material at all; but one night I was sleeping and the “dream fairies” came to me and whispered in my ear. I think the reason vetiver came to me is because I really have a thing for creating compositions with notes that are misunderstood, and challenging myself to make a perfume with a note that I don’t care for. That being said; Grounding Halo opens with bright citruses, spices, and orange blossom. I used more aromatic spices like cardamom, ginger and pink pepper to help give the green notes lift without making it into a perfume that goes into the territory of smelling like grass. The heart of this perfume is tuberose. And of course, as in the name, this perfume is anchored with a healthy dose of Vetiver and and airy patchouli to give it radiance and effervescence.
